Dolls in Pseudo Paradise

Drawing on themes of mystery and fantasy, Dolls in Pseudo Paradise, my thesis project of the same name as the album, is a book that tells the previously unknown story within the album while also depicting the events of said story in the form of illustrations that go alongside the text. Dolls in Pseudo Paradise by Junya Ota, better known as ZUN, is an album with a story pamphlet. Taking place in his world of Gensokyo, the main setting of the Touhou Project, the album explores what it means to be human and when one stops being human in the context of a magical realm and magical creatures or Youkai.
